Craigshill Shopping Mall has been a part of the Livingston community for decades, serving as a hub for local shopping and social interaction. Despite the challenges it has faced over the years, this shopping center still offers various service options that cater to its visitors.

Accessibility Features

One of the key aspects of Craigshill Shopping Mall is its commitment to accessibility. With a wheelchair-accessible entrance and a wheelchair-accessible car park, the mall ensures that everyone can enjoy what it has to offer. The efforts to make the space usable for all are reflected in the numerous positive comments from patrons who appreciate the convenience provided.

A Variety of On-Site Services

Inside the mall, you will find a range of on-site services that include a pharmacy, hairdressers, and several cafes. Reviewers have highlighted the fantastic food at Chap a Chino Cafe, praising the quality and portion sizes at affordable prices. Many guests left satisfied, excited to return for more delicious meals. On the contrary, some visitors expressed disappointment in the limited variety of shops available, noting that there are only a few establishments that may not meet everyone's shopping needs. As one reviewer mentioned, “If you were looking for homewares, clothes, shoes, etc., you'll be disappointed.”

The Community Spirit

Despite mixed reviews about the number of businesses currently operating within the mall, many locals still hold a fondness for the community-driven atmosphere. Well, I must say, my shopping experience at the mall was rather lackluster and dreary.
Beverly Long (30/07/2025, 19:38):
It's quite decent, a few handy shops and ample parking space.
Zachary Robinson (29/07/2025, 12:17):
Finally you can step inside, after some renovations. Our shopping mall houses multiple businesses under one roof, all in a convenient space. The area is not yet fully utilized, but we have various service points nearby. You'll find 2 well-stocked stores offering Polish food, with one even including a section for healthy products. Additionally, we have a pharmacy, a tattoo studio, a bookmaker, and more on the way. It's a great option for quickly restocking supplies without having to make a longer journey to a big supermarket. A much-needed addition to a neighborhood like Craigshill.
William Martin (29/07/2025, 06:25):
One of the shopping malls still stands. It's set to be transformed into a museum soon, from what I've heard. There isn't a great deal inside anymore. Just a few barbershops, an ATM, and an Eastern European grocery store. Quite a bit of history behind it all.
George Jackson (29/07/2025, 06:13):
Decent shops, though lacking in variety. The mall appears a bit run-down and could certainly benefit from some upgrades.
Evelyn Kim (27/07/2025, 12:46):
Cheers mate, Chap a chino Caffè is the spot to hit up for top-notch nosh at cracking prices.
Zachary Harris (27/07/2025, 12:20):
I do adore the shopping mall, but I must say it's not quite what it used to be. In my opinion, it could greatly benefit from the addition of a post office and a bakery. Nevertheless, I can't help but express my joy at the return of Annie's - a true staple!
Aaron Richardson (27/07/2025, 04:43):
Hey mate, do you know if Primark is open on New Year's Day? Cheers!
Philip Wright (24/07/2025, 16:28):
There aren't enough shops here, I can't even find a Greggs!
Carl Powell (24/07/2025, 08:00):
The heavy doors on the West side don't always open for wheelchair users.
Amanda Diaz (23/07/2025, 15:30):
I must say, I was rather chuffed to see the plethora of new shops that have popped up at the mall. It's a jolly good place, well-kept and with a fine layout of shops.
Amelia Price (20/07/2025, 14:51):
Great selection of stores available, mate.
Bradley Walker (19/07/2025, 14:38):
Convenient location, but could do with a bit of sprucing up...
Philip Campbell (18/07/2025, 00:44):
This petite shopping mall offers a handful of charming stores and a traditional fish and chips eatery.
Willie Kim (17/07/2025, 21:55):
If anyone is heading to this place for the Slovak store, don't waste your time. It's shut down. Now there's just a Polish store there. I visited today and was bummed to see it closed.
Judith Coleman (16/07/2025, 16:42):
The shopping mall has such a local vibe and a really friendly atmosphere. It's a great place to hang out and find some unique treasures!
Samantha Johnson (15/07/2025, 00:13):
There isn't much to see, quite unfortunate. Cheers!
Amy Cox (12/07/2025, 01:02):
Decent selection of stores, but it would definitely benefit from a post office and a bank.
Jason Flores (11/07/2025, 16:10):
This place is going to be brilliant once all the shops are back open.
Judith Walker (11/07/2025, 05:41):
Well, I must say, this place is a real gem! It spares your grandma the journey to Livingston. The sense of community here is strong, and you won't find a more delicious meal or snack than at Breed and Butter. Avis, the café manager, has her own unique charm - a bit rustic, but once you break through her tough exterior, she's an absolute diamond.
