I always do my big shop here, great prices, lovely helpful staff, open until quite late so fantastic if you need something last minute. I also adore the cafe, though it's a bit of a bother that it closes at 7 while the store is open until 9.

There's a wide selection at this store, but I must caution you - if you seem out of sorts, expect to be tailed by the wannabe police officer. It can make you feel quite uncomfortable. On the bright side, the rest of the team is fantastic and always eager to assist.

I decided to give more of their Saver brand a go. I gave their multipack of crisps a try, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Opting for the Saver brand really slashed my weekly shopping expenses. If they don't tickle your fancy, simply skip them on your next visit.

I must say, the experience I had at Morrison's was quite disappointing. I live just across the road and decided to pop in around 7:50 pm to grab a few things. Upon asking a staff member about their closing time, I was informed they were open until 9pm. Feeling relieved, I leisurely continued my shopping, only to be confronted by another staff member, Jordan Stevenson, who abruptly told me they were closing and I needed to check out immediately. His tone was not only rude but also quite aggressive.

I tried explaining that I had confirmed the closing time with his colleague before entering the store, but he insisted that his staff knew better. Thankfully, another staff member named Collum intervened and apologized for Jordan's behavior. Despite this, I decided to leave my items and exit the store.

Having my own business nearby, we emphasize the importance of treating customers respectfully, especially towards closing time. It was truly disheartening to encounter such unprofessionalism at Morrison's. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly.

I wouldn't rate it at all, dreadful store, shelves bare, prices too high, staff rude and irritating, self-service checkouts outdated, employees more into their phones than assisting customers. I'd steer clear at all costs! No wonder Morrisons is losing so many customers.

Absolute chaos... The most ghastly shopping ordeal amidst the Covid era. I placed an order for my Christmas groceries online to pick up at the car park, only to find myself queuing inside without any regard for social distancing or organization. They chalked it up to IT issues, but I remain unconvinced... Apparently, Morrison's in Dalkeith couldn't manage car park pickups due to its size, yet they do have a designated area for click and collect which they simply aren't utilizing. Being misled doesn't sit well with me, and the utter lack of social distancing at the Customer Service counter is quite unacceptable. Furthermore, when I contacted Morrison's complaints department, the staff were discourteous and completely unhelpful... A truly dreadful experience.

I pop into this supermarket every fortnight for my groceries. The prices are pretty good, but you have to keep an eye out for deals that might not actually be so special. It's often more cost-effective to buy items individually rather than in multipacks. For instance, a 1kg tub of Clover costs over three pounds, whereas a 500g tub is just a pound. Despite this, I'll keep shopping here as it's conveniently close to my house.
