Dear Manager,

I am writing to bring to your attention an incident that occurred on Tuesday, 13th June 2023, between approximately 2pm and 3pm.

I kindly request that you address the behavior of the Grey Haired Bespectacled resident Trolley Pusher in regard to Disabled Customers. It was concerning when he forcefully pushed a line of seven interconnected trolleys into the Customer Elevator, leaving me with very little space to navigate. When I approached him, he rudely claimed there was no room for me as he had more trolleys to transport.

Is it Tesco's policy to prioritize the movement of Shopping Trolleys over the needs of Disabled Customers? If so, could you please refer to your Company Handbook so that other Disabled Customers are aware of what to expect when visiting your store. There appears to be a recurring issue of disrespectful behavior among the staff at this particular location, as noted in other reviews.

I have provided the date and time of the incident for your reference, and I urge you to review the CCTV footage for verification. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to your response.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

This Tesco store is top-notch, I must say. The signage is spot on and the staff are truly helpful. The management is doing a splendid job by opening tills promptly when there are queues. The variety of products and overall atmosphere are top-notch, as well as the ample parking spaces available. Other Tesco stores should definitely take notes from this one. Cheers!
Gloria Edwards (27/06/2025, 02:37):
This supermarket always seems to have exactly what I need, along with some tempting extras that I inevitably end up buying! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the folks at the butcher counter always seem to be in a great mood. They have fantastic facilities here too, including conveniences like click and collect, a cafe, scan as you go, a Costa machine, and more. It's always a pleasure to shop at this store! 😉
Gregory Ward (26/06/2025, 23:18):
The prices may be a bit steep, but I always manage to find exactly what I'm looking for here. And let me tell you, the quality of the produce is absolutely top-notch! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Raymond Ortiz (26/06/2025, 05:00):
We definitely need more staff to handle the busy weekends. Only 2 cashiers were open on Friday late afternoon, and there was a long queue waiting. This is not a good situation!
Adam Taylor (26/06/2025, 02:40):
The toastie was soggy, the cheese was terrible, and the chips were horrible. This cafe is the worst for food, I will never go back, what a waste of money!
Willie Moore (26/06/2025, 02:17):
Fully stocked with a cafe nearby
Sarah Rogers (21/06/2025, 22:50):
I say, this concerns the cafe.

A few of the more seasoned staff members are truly helpful, they go the extra mile to assist, but some of the younger ones can be rather brusque. And mind you, I speak as a young individual working in the hospitality field myself, so I'm not expecting them to go out of their way, and I fully grasp the challenges of dealing with the public.

I found myself standing for a good five minutes at the far end of the counter, trying to catch someone's eye, while several individuals simply ignored me. The place was bustling (though not actively serving, just tidying up), so I decided to return to my seat and await my food. Once things calmed down a bit, I approached the counter again to request something and was rather curtly told, "Come down here for it," while two staff members shared a laugh amongst themselves (probably the first smile I'd witnessed throughout my entire visit, truth be told). They hardly engage with customers at the register and the experience can be quite disappointing at times, depending on who is serving. If you can overlook that, the food itself is rather uninspiring, I must say.

Attention when you venture into the cigarette kiosk. I visited yesterday, Saturday 20th April, around 11 am. The lady behind the counter seemed preoccupied and took her time to assist me as she was engrossed in another task. I waited patiently as she attended to me. I requested a pack of 40 Players Red SK. However, upon opening the packet at home, I discovered she had given me the bright blue variant instead. Slightly frustrated, yet I shrugged it off.

To my dismay, the second packet I opened contained Players Green, the menthol variety. This is unacceptable considering the amount of money these products cost. I expect to receive the items I specifically asked for. Receiving two different types left me pondering how many others fell victim to her oversight that day. My dissatisfaction knows no bounds.

Exceptional customer service was delivered by Helena, who possesses a genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful approach.
Russell Hamilton (19/06/2025, 09:23):
I must say, this Supermarket is a solid 10/10, much better than the other big Tesco around these parts. Cheers to that!
Gloria Kim (17/06/2025, 01:13):
The customer service staff at this supermarket are a bit cheeky.
Jeffrey Myers (15/06/2025, 10:21):
Google keeps pestering me to leave a review for Tesco Dunfermline, even though I'm just chilling in my sitting room a stone's throw away. I've given it five stars because, even though I'm not physically there, I reckon if I ever need anything, it's just a quick stroll down the road. Super handy, it is.
Ella Jackson (10/06/2025, 17:45):
I popped into the store today and was assisted by Natalie. Tesco should truly value her, I must say. I'm a new smartphone user, and I ventured into the store feeling clueless about how to set it up, retain my current number, and transfer my contacts. The level of service she provided was top-notch; she took care of everything for me and shared other valuable tips and advice for future reference. I was feeling quite jittery, but she quickly put me at ease. Huge thanks to her!
Charles Kelly (09/06/2025, 17:08):
Spacious store with a lovely cafe and restrooms, escalator conveniently located beside the stairs for shoppers, and complimentary parking for up to 2 hours in the underground car park. The store is situated at street level on the bustling main street, with a petrol station also on site.
Allison Gutierrez (08/06/2025, 01:53):
Loads of parking available with a fantastic variety of products in stock. The service for collecting online orders was super quick, with hardly any wait at all. Cheers!
Emily Thompson (07/06/2025, 16:07):
The store itself is quite decent. It's always kept clean and organized. However, I must express my discontent with the recent addition of a rather perilous speed bump. This impediment is incredibly high, forcing cars to practically come to a halt just to navigate over it. The level of danger it poses cannot be overstated. I am left pondering who will be held accountable for any potential damage caused to vehicles. A member of the staff confided in me that they have been receiving numerous complaints about this issue.
Amelia Johnson (07/06/2025, 11:30):
This charming Tesco Superstore is situated right in the heart of the city. The staff here really make an effort to get to know their customers and they are incredibly pleasant, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you ever find yourself unable to locate an item in this vast store, rest assured that there will be someone like David, who looks after the meat aisle, ready to assist you.

Even when the staff are busy preparing a delivery, they are always willing to stop what they're doing to offer help. At the checkout, you can always count on experienced colleagues like Liza to engage in friendly conversation, especially with regular customers. For older shoppers, this interaction might be the highlight of their day. The customer service desk is staffed by a young lady who goes above and beyond to assist customers with a helpful and sympathetic attitude.

The fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, and bakery offerings are top-notch, and there is a great selection of newspapers available, not just tabloids. The immaculately clean restrooms and comfortable café add to the positive shopping experience. All of these aspects are complemented by the competitive prices, especially for Clubcard holders. Parking is convenient, and even on a chilly winter day, the store maintains a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Plus, you won't be forced to use self-service checkouts, which is a bonus for many customers.
Wayne James (06/06/2025, 20:48):
Without the chubster at the self-checkouts, who believes he's the boss of them like a mad overlord. No complaints whatsoever.
Justin Ortiz (06/06/2025, 17:32):
I reckon this Tesco has a better layout than the one in Duloch, and the range of products is top-notch. I've been to the Duloch Tesco a couple of times and they didn't have what I needed, but this one did. Cheers!
