While the selection is good, the sell-by dates at times can be cutting it close or often expired. However, the staff is absolutely fantastic. Like all supermarkets, they ought to consider reinstating night shifts to ensure dedicated employees can thoroughly check and clean. Come on Morrisons, stop prioritizing profits over the well-being of those who contribute to them.

The excitement of stumbling upon a brand-new, gleaming shopping cart every now and then more than makes up for the often bare shelves. I'm eagerly anticipating my next trip!
Sandra Morris (17/06/2025, 19:19):
I used to frequent the Morrisons in Johnstone and it was quite the clean and tidy establishment. However, ever since new ownership took over, it has turned into quite a shabby place. The store now reeks of dampness, with pallets and cages strewn across the floors. It's such a pity, but I hardly find myself stepping foot in there anymore. I've opted to shop elsewhere for now.
Virginia Jenkins (16/06/2025, 07:03):
I must say, the entrance was quite organized and I received a warm greeting from the young lady who was directing customers at the checkouts. She was very pleasant. However, the cashier, Gordon, seemed less than enthusiastic. He was sitting with his arms folded, giving off the impression that he would rather be elsewhere. Another customer ahead of me even commented on his demeanor, asking if he was in a rush.

I say, when to buy chicken. T'was warm, indeed. Fridge on the blink. Staff did nowt, I tell ya. Shocking, needs a new management, it does. Abysmal. The Morrisons I've ever set foot in. Place is always a mess, and products missing, left and right.
Jordan Alexander (09/06/2025, 14:57):
Plenty of parking, fully stocked shelves, reasonable prices, and a staff that's always friendly.
Nicole Green (08/06/2025, 09:23):
I 'ad an absolutely top-notch experience with Morrisons for the funeral wake. They were right helpful in gettin' everything sorted and pickin' up the bits and bobs. The sarnies were proper fresh, and all the grub was packed up a treat and dead easy to dish out. It made a real difference for the family and we were so grateful. I'd definitely give 'em a big thumbs up and recommend their service. Cheers!

Top-notch supermarket in the vicinity, I must say. The chaps at the butcher shop, fish counter, and deli counter are just splendid, always willing to lend a hand. The only downside, I'd say, is the rather dreadful layout of the new aisles. The baby clothes and toiletries section seems to be hogging all the space; they ought to relocate it elsewhere in the store.

Hello there, it's William speaking. I just wanted to share my recent experience at this supermarket. The staff were fantastic and the food selection was top-notch. However, I must say the security is lacking a bit. A staff member actually followed my 9-year-old son around the store because he tried to buy some smarties without being accompanied by a trusted adult. Pretty disappointing security measures, if you ask me.
Katherine King (07/06/2025, 02:20):
I found meself waitin' o'er 35 minutes for a proper fry up. The rest o' the blokes at me table 'ad already finished their grub before I got mine. The cafe manager's explanation was quite shabby, I must say.
Ava Gomez (06/06/2025, 18:34):
I am absolutely livid, mate. I placed me order for just 1 item and it was over an hour and a half before closing time. The app kept saying it was preparing me order and pushin' back the delivery time, until finally they went and cancelled it! And now there ain't no other place open for me to get what I need elsewhere! They could've cancelled it sooner instead of muckin' about and wasting me time and money. Now I'll 'ave to wait 3-5 days to get me money back. It's completely daft and now I'm left with no other options. Bloody disgraceful behavior, if you ask me.
Mark Lewis (06/06/2025, 18:11):
The chocolate cake was absolutely brilliant, but what really stood out was the lovely welcome we received from the Lady who looked after us. May is her name, and let me tell you, she could make even the gloomiest day feel sunny. That smile of hers truly made our day. Thank you, May. You're a gem. X
Andrew Powell (06/06/2025, 13:45):
The staff are absolutely lovely and welcoming, the store isn't overly large and some aisles are a bit narrow in comparison to the larger Kilmarnock Morrisons with its spacious aisles. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic store. It's clear that they could really make use of a larger building.
Donna Myers (06/06/2025, 01:13):
Great store that I've visited once or twice over the years, the prices are indeed very reasonable.
Adam Flores (03/06/2025, 12:17):
The poor Lady called "Rose" was handling both the tobacco/lotto section and the customer service desk. When I arrived to collect my order, there was a long line of customers for tobacco/lotto and only Rose to assist them. She did her best to squeeze in my order while attending to the other customers.
After a while, someone brought my order but left it for Rose to handle as they needed to go back to the tills. I patiently waited to pay the remaining balance, understanding that Rose was doing her best to manage the situation amidst the busy store.
It's clear that they need more staff to help assist customers. Rose remained very apologetic, despite being on her own without any support. Management should definitely address this issue.
Karen Cruz (02/06/2025, 19:58):
What a delightful and tidy store! The aisles are clearly marked with signs above. After gathering our items for a refundable £1, we secured the shopping in a locker and headed to the café. The breakfast was delicious, and the tables were well spaced for safety. A fantastic spot for grocery shopping. This charming experience took place at Morrisons in Stevenston.
Louis Walker (01/06/2025, 21:10):
I absolutely adore this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's always spotless and fully stocked. The Savers line offers fantastic quality at such reasonable prices.
Stephanie Robinson (01/06/2025, 01:36):
Handy supermarket, always bustling. I've noticed that the 'date range' on a lot of the fresh produce is quite short, only a couple of days at best. This means you either have to visit frequently or freeze your groceries. It's got a convenient Amazon parcel drop-off point, which we find ourselves using more and more. [You see, we're hardly ever at home...we're always off to Morrisons for our shopping...lol ;-) ] They've recently added a dry cleaner and a Timpsons as well.
The only issue is getting in and out...but I don't think it's Morrisons' fault. With Morrisons, B&Q, McDonald's, and B & M all in the same place, it can get a bit hectic trying to leave during peak times.
It would definitely help with the congestion if there was a slip road onto the bypass...wouldn't it? Answers on a postcard to...
Catherine Adams (01/06/2025, 00:09):
Ah, mate, had a bit of a rubbish time at the supermarket today. Couldn't locate me newspaper, The National, ended up being hidden behind The Irvine Times, of all places. Then, waited around in the cafe for 20 minutes after ordering, only to have to leave without me food arriving. Managed to get me money back and decided to try another spot instead. Seemed like no one really cared about the whole situation. Definitely won't bother going back there again.
Amanda Cruz (31/05/2025, 18:02):
Today I had lunch and waited a long time for my food to arrive at the table. When it finally came, it was served on strange plates. Furthermore, it wasn't very warm, which was quite disappointing. 😕
