The store's profile is off-target and should be more aligned with a high-end food store like M&S or a convenience store like Sainsbury's Local. We don't need to see clothing or such a large selection of car parts and alcoholic beverages.

Dreadful. The store is dreadfully understaffed and most of the personnel who do work there make you feel like you're a bother. The self-service checkouts are dreadful and most customers would much prefer traditional checkouts.

What a bloomin' nightmare! Went to the supermarket and there wasn't a single soul manning the tills. Just one poor soul darting about trying to manage the self-service checkouts. And don't get me started on the overabundance of staff stocking shelves when they could've been helping at the registers. To top it off, not a single basket or trolley in sight at the front of the shop, had to traipse all the way outside to the car park to grab one. Absolutely won't be making a return visit, that's for certain.

The car park is quite small, with the parking spaces being quite close together making it a bit of a struggle to maneuver in and out of the car. We had difficulty finding some items and there weren't many staff members around to ask for help. None of the regular checkouts were open so we had to use the self-service option. However, it didn't recognize the first item we scanned and we had to wait for someone from the cigarette counter to come over and reset it. After scanning the second item, we encountered the classic "unexpected item in the bagging area" issue. Fortunately, the staff member stayed nearby to assist each time this happened. It would probably be more efficient and cost-effective for them to eliminate the self-service checkouts and have more staff on the regular tills. I imagine they lose a lot of customers due to this setup. I wouldn't recommend visiting this supermarket unless you really need just a couple of items.

It's a proper little store, quite local and all. Doesn't have as many deals as them big supermarkets so sometimes the stock can be a bit on the tight side. But the layout ain't bad, you can squeeze by folks without causing a ruckus. They restock the shelves all day, although they can look a bit bare after the lunch rush when the school kids and workers come in for their bite to eat. The staff are alright, not the chattiest lot with customers. You'll usually find the self-service scanner crew hanging about by the help desk or off somewhere else in the store, so getting their attention can be a bit of a bother.
Overall, they've got a decent selection of bits and bobs for your everyday needs, or even a wee weekly shop for a small family.

Had a dreadful experience here! AVOID IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO PURCHASE ALCOHOL AND HAVE MINORS IN TOW!
My 20-year-old sibling popped into the shop to grab some alcohol for our FATHER and my underage sister tagged along to pick up some sweets. At the checkout, my brother presented his ID but was turned away because of my underage sister's presence!! 1. The alcohol was intended for our dad, not her! 2. She didn't even lay a finger on the alcohol during our time in the store, so there was no reason to assume it was for her. 3. My brother is 20 and had his ID. 4. The lady working there was incredibly impolite to him and my mother when she tried to purchase it separately but was denied because once again, my sister was present.
