Tesco Superstore in Westhill: A Comprehensive Overview

When it comes to grocery shopping in Westhill, the Tesco Superstore stands out for its vast offerings and amenities. In this article, we will explore various aspects of the store, including planning, in-store shopping, and accessibility.

Planning Your Visit

Before heading out, it's essential to plan your visit, especially given that the car park is currently undergoing a significant renovation. While this has led to some parking difficulties, the store does offer a free parking lot with ample space for customers. The wheelchair-accessible entrance and wheelchair-accessible car park make it easier for everyone to access the store.

Store Offerings and Amenities

Tesco Superstore is well-stocked with a wide range of products, from great produce to household essentials. However, customers have noted inconsistencies in availability, such as the green Cravendale milk, often missing from the shelves due to supplier issues. Despite these occasional shortages, the store excels with options for in-store shopping and competitive prices compared to nearby supermarkets.

Payment Options

The store accommodates various payment methods, including debit cards and NFC mobile payments, making transactions swift and easy. Some shoppers have reported issues with incorrect pricing at the checkout, so it's advisable to check your items before leaving the store.

Customer Service and Support

The customer service experience can vary. While many staff members are friendly and knowledgeable—like William from the mobile department—there are instances where assistance may fall short. Shoppers have noted that some staff could be more helpful, particularly when seeking help with specific products. However, the overall sentiment is that the staff generally maintain a cheerful demeanor.

Safety and Accessibility

The supermarket does its best to create a safe shopping environment. Customers appreciate the wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities and praise the store for being LGBTQ+ friendly and a transgender safe space. However, some patrons have expressed concerns regarding crowd management and safety protocols. A one-way system was previously implemented during lockdowns, but shoppers have noted a return to normalcy, which may impact the shopping experience.

Recycling and Sustainability

Customers have pointed out the importance of recycling, particularly regarding plastic bags in the store. Tesco has made efforts to promote sustainability, but there is still room for improvement in product packaging and waste management.

Final Thoughts

Tesco Superstore in Westhill offers a well-rounded shopping experience, despite some operational challenges. From a great selection of food and household items to various service options, it remains a go-to destination for locals. Whether you are making a quick visit or planning your weekly grocery run, this supermarket aims to meet your needs.

"Super easy to locate. It may be on the small side for a supermarket, but it gets the job done quite well."
Linda Brooks (02/07/2025, 14:05):
There appears to be a wider selection of products compared to other nearby Tesco stores.

Absolutely phenomenal spot on the planet, I must say!
Betty Kim (30/06/2025, 00:56):
When you don't realize until you arrive home that the scampi marked as £1.50 at the Supermarket has been rung up at £6, and you ended up purchasing 4 of them!!!! Attempted to ring them up, but abandoned the effort after enduring 2 full minutes of automated responses followed by another 2.29 minutes of unanswered ringing...

I just wanted to extend my gratitude and commendation for the exceptional work that you all have been doing, particularly during these challenging times. Your team members are consistently cheerful and accommodating, with a special shoutout to the young lady guiding customers to the checkouts at 4:30 pm today. I believe she may be the same individual who was distributing hot cross buns at the entrance last week. Keep up the fantastic work!

Decent range of food and drink options available. Ample parking spots right outside the store.
Brandon Hamilton (20/06/2025, 11:19):
Plenty of parking spaces, no gas station on-site, car washing services offered, and a Costa Coffee shop inside.
Teresa Foster (19/06/2025, 01:36):
I must say, in all my years I have never come across a store run with such incompetence as this one.
Chloe Russell (18/06/2025, 15:39):
Waited for over 20 minutes just to get a pack of sparklers because they misplaced the person with the keys. Apart from that, decent store with good parking facilities.
Lucy Alexander (18/06/2025, 01:35):
Lovely shop, but it gets quite bustling around noon and one o'clock. Cheers!
Carol Stewart (17/06/2025, 22:04):
We found everythin' we were lookin' for at the supermarket.
Andrew Ramirez (17/06/2025, 10:06):
The staff at the supermarket were not overly helpful, with only one out of the three members actually making an effort to assist me in finding a product. However, there was one particular staff member, a male, who was rather rude to both my wife and me. He rudely pushed past us with some display items, but karma quickly caught up with him as he ended up dropping and scattering the items he was so determined to rush by us with. It was quite amusing and gave us a good laugh during the rest of our shopping trip. 🤣🛒 #supermarketfun
Mia Graham (14/06/2025, 07:00):
Tesco is a well-organized emporium for groceries and apparel, boasting a grand parking lot.
Johnny Butler (12/06/2025, 17:07):
At the start of lockdown, Tesco implemented a one-way system in the aisles... Has the virus disappeared? It certainly put my mind at ease.
But now it's business as usual... Wander wherever you please.
Brittany Nelson (12/06/2025, 02:16):
The supermarket in Westhill is top-notch, highly recommended!
Laura Russell (11/06/2025, 13:08):
This shop is absolutely brilliant, stocked to the brim with a dazzling array of products.
Ethan James (10/06/2025, 23:41):
Tonight's shopping experience was quite unsettling with a high number of unmasked customers roaming freely. This made me feel uneasy and I didn't feel safe navigating the aisles.

Additionally, I couldn't help but notice that the stock was disorganized and lacking compared to the usual standards. It definitely did not meet expectations.
