Parking and Access

With a large parking area, including free of charge street parking, accessibility is optimized for families and those requiring additional support. Customers, however, have raised concerns about the layout, specifically regarding the safety of pedestrian paths from the parent and toddler parking areas.

My bloke just stumbled upon some glass in his kale, eh! Good thing he spotted it before taking a bite!
Timothy Flores (22/07/2025, 05:22):
The stores and café are impeccably kept, with COVID precautions always in mind. From hot to cold dishes served until 5pm at the café, to the friendly and helpful staff, everything is top-notch. Ample parking spaces are always available, making it incredibly convenient for both locals and travelers heading south. Plus, there's a fuel station to refuel your vehicles.
Vincent Foster (19/07/2025, 00:54):
No baskets near the entrance. Managed to spot one by the till (piled at least 30 high). No bags available at the self-checkout (as usual). Plenty of staff just standing around and chatting, including the managers.
Alexander Parker (18/07/2025, 14:14):
This store is a decent size and even has some shops inside Asda. It's simple to navigate through the store, the parking is great, and the trolley areas by the entrances are always well-stocked, so you can easily grab one. Additionally, there's a fuel station and several eateries nearby.
Carol Graham (17/07/2025, 01:30):
Alright, I reckon the lack of traditional checkouts is pretty nifty.
Kathryn Kim (16/07/2025, 02:43):
Now that's a massive ASDA, mate! They've got the lot, even a chemist, can you believe it?
Jesse Torres (15/07/2025, 16:53):
What a stellar range of products and shelves brimming with stock. The staff are top-notch, no doubt about it. I'll definitely be making a return visit. And let's not forget about the café – it's simply marvelous.
Olivia Davis (13/07/2025, 03:08):
They were selling Asda brand products, which caught my wife, son, and me off guard, but they were quite easy on the wallet, which made us all chuckle heartily. It was quite a riot, you had to be there to fully appreciate it.
Amanda Ramos (11/07/2025, 19:07):
The prices for fuel at this particular establishment are absolutely scandalous, I must say. Today, they are charging a whopping 151.7p per litre for diesel. In contrast, just 5 miles away at ASDA, the price is a much more reasonable 141.7p. Simply outrageous!
Arthur Myers (11/07/2025, 01:48):
Loads of parking space, cracking range of products, and staff who are as friendly as they come.
Judy Lewis (10/07/2025, 23:37):
A rather large supermarket located in a retail park next to the A90. They offer a good variety of groceries, household items, and clothing. Prices are reasonable, although the café could do with some improvement.
Dorothy Myers (10/07/2025, 12:02):
Visited the store to purchase bed linens today and was directed by a manager to refrain from bothering the younger employees, as they were occupied. I found this quite off-putting, as it was evident that he assumed I was distracting the staff due to my age. Older customers have never been treated in this manner, and I felt it was impolite to be singled out in such a way, especially as a paying customer who simply asked a question. The management should address this issue promptly, as I was unimpressed. This is not the first instance of such treatment, and I fear it will happen again in the future. How can this be considered good customer service in any way?
Vincent Graham (06/07/2025, 12:11):
Not a bad shop, but it's a bit of an issue that it's not open 24 hours anymore, you know?
Michelle Cooper (01/07/2025, 10:59):
My partner and I popped into your Portlethen store today, 13/11/2022, for some groceries. Afterwards, we decided to grab a late lunch at the cafe around 3:50 pm.

We selected our meals and my partner went to settle the bill. The young woman at the counter was quite rude towards her as she was getting money out of her purse to pay. She lacked manners, customer service skills, and was rather slow in serving the food. When she brought out our meals, she wasn't very pleasant either, just saying, "Here's your food," without any politeness.

The girl in question was wearing glasses and a black cafe uniform.
Stephen King (30/06/2025, 23:50):
While the prices are indeed low, I was quite surprised by the lack of certain products available at this supermarket.
Tyler Ross (30/06/2025, 21:25):
I absolutely adore shopping at this supermarket, I always end up splurging because I simply can't resist purchasing discounted items. The welcoming staff truly adds to the overall shopping experience.
Amelia Fisher (30/06/2025, 16:00):
Every mornin', I stroll through the doors 'round 7:30am, and am welcomed by the scent of freshly baked Pain au Chocolats and Chocolate Croissants. Most of the time, the bakers in the store are there, ready with a smile and kind words as they pack me up with FRESH delicious treats. I absolutely adore those folks! Please pass along my gratitude for their hard work and let 'em know how much I value 'em, really kicks off my day on the right foot!
Bruce Roberts (27/06/2025, 20:00):
I popped into the Cafe earlier today with my missus, and we decided to go for some pizza and chips. A helpful chap on the staff recommended getting a whole pizza as it was more cost-effective, and promised it wouldn't take long to get ready. He was spot on - the meal was top-notch! There were also two lovely ladies working alongside him, all of them were fantastic and a true asset to the cafe. We'll definitely be returning, rating our experience 11 out of 10!
Patricia Morales (27/06/2025, 18:57):
Neat, not overly crowded, and plenty of items in stock on the shelves.
Judy Bailey (23/06/2025, 18:50):
I must say, I was quite disappointed by my recent experience at the supermarket. It seems they employ rather uneducated salesmen and managers. They flat-out denied selling me beer despite me presenting a valid ID confirming I am of legal age. The employees were unable to provide any reasonable explanation for their actions. I would strongly advise against shopping at this establishment.
