The store closing at midnight is a laugh. The cigarette counter shuts down at 8pm or even earlier. I was the lone ranger at the self-service checkouts, scanning away when suddenly a staff member hands me back my card. A simple "your card is there" would've sufficed, no need to touch it with your filthy mitts!! If the machines were quicker, I could've reclaimed my card before bagging my items. There wasn't any hand gel on the way out to sanitize or wash my card, and forget about the 2-meter rule - it's a myth in that store.

My wife Olivia and I absolutely adore Tesco. It's the greatest supermarket in existence, mate. Always running out of milk, it's a proper struggle, innit? But I ain't gonna let that get me down. Every time I spot a Tesco, I think to meself, "that's where we belong." They always have the best tunes playing, I tell ya. Been there 18 times this week, it's the little things like them club cards that really do it for me. Now, don't get me wrong, Iceland puts up a good fight (left 'em a review too), but at the end of the day, Tesco always comes out on top. Me mates over at Asda are just stuck in their ways, poor blokes.

I was strolling through the dark, wind blowing about, when suddenly I got this powerful craving for baked beans. They don't know that me and the missus are into magic tricks, do they? We're just trying to make the most of our time while we're still young. One thing's for sure about Tesco- you and I, we'll both love it, no doubt about it.

Big store, big range of products, tends to get crowded so best to avoid Friday afternoons and Saturdays.

The staff at this supermarket are really friendly and helpful whenever you have a question. It's a huge and well-lit store with a wide variety of products to choose from.

The staff at the supermarket are absolutely brilliant, extremely helpful and kind. However, it's a bit disappointing to see that the shelves aren't as fully stocked as usual. Additionally, the cafe seems to be understaffed, and one can't help but wonder if this is due to a shortage of personnel or illness. It appears that the management at Tesco may need to step up their game a bit.

A St Andrew's Ceilidh was organized for the children of Galashiels Primary School and took place at Queens Leisure Centre on December 1st. More than 200 children attended the event and had a fantastic time dancing to six ceilidh tunes played live by a local accordionist. The refreshments, including water, apples, bananas, and crisps, were generously provided by Tesco and were greatly enjoyed by the children, who gave a big cheer and thanked Lorraine and Laura for their hard work in organizing it. This event has strong support from the schools, and we are truly grateful for Tesco's generous contribution. Many thanks!👍

It's like a Tesco but with a little something extra. This supermarket has a slightly wider selection, so it's pretty much like most other Tescos out there.

The food at the supermarket was splendid, especially the vegan breakfast options which were quite delightful. I've been shopping at Tesco locations all across the country for years, but I must say that my experience at the Galashiels store was far from satisfactory. The customer service was extremely lacking, and the mobile phone manager came across as arrogant and uninformed. The security personnel, particularly John, seemed more focused on intimidating customers rather than ensuring their safety. This has pushed many people, myself included, to choose Asda as a preferred shopping destination. The staff at this branch seemed disinterested, making the overall shopping experience at Tesco in Galashiels quite disappointing. I would recommend exploring other options for your grocery needs.

The café was absolute rubbish today, no food available at 2 pm even though it was busy. I mean, come on, it's supposed to be a café restaurant! Quite disappointing, I must say.
