Betty Reyes (05/09/2025, 04:55):
Tesco Extra is a top-notch spot for all your shopping needs, with a wide variety of products from around the globe and one-of-a-kind items. The store also boasts a sizable clothing department and unbeatable prices. While the space can feel a tad cozy, the layout is designed for easy maneuvering. All in all, it's a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a hassle-free shopping experience.
Bruce Carter (04/09/2025, 07:54):
Bloomin' brilliant, the staff are top-notch and they've got a cracking selection of free from goodies.
Charlotte Phillips (03/09/2025, 13:55):
Decent prices on average
Some items are quite affordable compared to other stores
A few items are on the pricier side
Overall, I'd rate it a 7 out of 10

Parking is available
The parking lot isn't too crowded on weekends
They have frequent promotional offers
Ava Ramirez (29/08/2025, 18:39):
Seems alright. Floors are even with no sudden peaks or dips.
Zachary Baker (28/08/2025, 16:32):
This morning I ventured to the shops at 6am, only to find signs stating they wouldn't open until 8am! Confused, I checked online and it still said 6am. Quite inconvenient; as a near septuagenarian, I prefer shopping during quieter times. I ended up going to Asda at 8am instead. They had a queueing system in place, along with arrows directing one-way traffic in the store and a cap on the number of shoppers inside. I'll be sticking with ASDA for my future shopping needs. Cheers!
Jerry Ramos (28/08/2025, 01:11):
Terrible experience, mate. I tried talking to the clothing supervisor, but it felt like chatting with the bloomin' walls. Definitely steer clear of this shop when the night staff are on duty. They don't seem to have that friendly "can I help you" vibe, if you know what I mean. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on, cheers.
Amy Butler (27/08/2025, 18:15):
I sometimes find that they don't always have everything I need on my recent visits, but overall it's usually quite good.
Kyle Bailey (24/08/2025, 12:36):
Plenty of parking space, a breeze for the elderly to access. The shelves were well-stocked and the staff was delightful.
Barbara Nguyen (17/08/2025, 08:31):
At the till they don't accept cash and four different cards (outside the UK) were declined. Unacceptable!
Elizabeth Stewart (12/08/2025, 04:12):
I've been using it for years, brilliant 🍞 ...

Visited on May 29th, 2020. The store was well organized and we were able to navigate around without any issues. Despite the current situation with the virus, I must commend Caitlyn who was stationed at the entrance. She was very kind and helpful, making the shopping experience much easier. If you have an employee of the month program, Caitlyn would definitely be a deserving candidate. Thank you Caitlyn for allowing my wife, who was on crutches, access as per the customer in front.

Decent variety of items, wasn't too crowded earlier today.
Mark Coleman (11/08/2025, 14:01):
I recently purchased a Tesco chicken salad as part of a meal deal, and to my dismay, I discovered a hair in it! Needless to say, this experience has left me thoroughly disappointed, and I have decided that I will not be purchasing any more meals from them in the future.
Nancy Evans (09/08/2025, 01:09):
I reckon Tesco is aiming for a future where all their stores run without any staff and cashiers. The manned tills are vanishing rapidly, with the few remaining often closed. The majority of self-service checkouts now only accept card or smartphone payments.
Keith Miller (08/08/2025, 11:15):
Where are all the managers, mate? The employees are completely unmanaged. They're in groups chatting away while customers are waiting at the tills. The pickers are having a natter, blocking the aisles and not paying attention to shoppers trying to get through. Over in the cafe, staff are having a chinwag with the counter staff while customers are left waiting to be served. It's a right mess, no supervision at all. Absolutely shocking, never seen anything like it.
Gabriel Howard (06/08/2025, 18:48):
All three Tesco stores have brilliant layout and items are a breeze to locate. Can't quite say the same about the competition. The staff are incredibly helpful and know exactly where everything is stocked.
Maria Hamilton (05/08/2025, 21:26):
Oh dear, what a dreadful time I had at Tesco Extra today. I popped in to gas up my car at around 5:30 PM on the 30th of March and encountered a spot of bother. A lady at the counter flat out refused to accept my gift card, claiming that "Tesco doesn't take pre-loaded gift cards." I've used my gift card to buy diesel at Tesco Inshes in the past without any issues, so this was quite perplexing. Not only was she dismissive and brusque, but she seemed to have a real aversion to her job. The whole interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. I shan't be returning to refuel my car at that establishment anytime soon.
Juan Taylor (05/08/2025, 00:59):
Top-notch supermarket, I must say. A splendid variety of products, fair prices, and the staff - oh, so friendly and helpful!
Ralph Anderson (04/08/2025, 08:08):
I would not even give them a single star. The only person who was helpful was the manager. I entered the store with my 37-week pregnant partner, we walked around doing our shopping, etc. The security guard literally followed us around the store. When my partner needed to use the restroom, I stepped outside for a smoke. Upon returning to get her and some juice, the guy tried to stop us because he claimed I made him feel uncomfortable. I only shop at this place as I find it hard to leave the house due to mental health issues. To have this happen when I finally make the effort to come here is just ridiculous. The guy clearly judged me; he even asked to see my bank statement and thought it was a good idea to send my heavily pregnant partner running about. Absolutely unacceptable - a complete joke. I am very disappointed. This is the type of experience that makes me never want to leave my house. I will be contacting customer service about this incident that occurred around 8:30 tonight. I will definitely not be returning to this store ever again.
Ryan Murphy (04/08/2025, 03:32):
The staff were really friendly and the whole shopping experience was hassle-free.
