Had a bit of a tricky situation with my little one at the supermarket, as she was zooming up and down the moving walkway and giving me a real run-around. The security guard kindly approached her and had a friendly chat, attempting to corral her - but she found it all quite amusing 😔 Afterwards, the security guard returned and sweetly rewarded my toddler with two Milkybars for settling down. Huge thanks to whoever you were 😇❤ This happened during my visit on Friday the 22nd around 6:30 pm. Hoping this message reaches the staff member in question.

Decent, but a bit dull for the young 'uns.
Frank Kim (18/07/2025, 13:55):
The ambiance at this place is always so welcoming. They offer top-notch fresh produce at very reasonable prices.
Allison Myers (16/07/2025, 16:42):
Massive Asda with two levels, your typical big supermarket vibes. They've even got a cafe and Harry Gows inside. Plus, there's free parking and a petrol station for convenience.

I popped into this supermarket earlier today and had the pleasure of being assisted by Alana Wall over in the George clothing department, as well as Michele Lamb at the courtesy desk. Both of them were incredibly pleasant, friendly, and super helpful. I really appreciated their assistance!
George Moore (14/07/2025, 21:10):
A splendid supermarket, well-organized and stocked with a marvelous array of goods. Plenty of parking, hand sanitizers at the entrance, and welcoming staff. They offer some remarkably affordable products, making it a smart choice for weekly shopping compared to other supermarkets.
Sharon Gutierrez (14/07/2025, 20:37):
The food in the cafe is absolutely dreadful! The batter on the fish is soggy and oily, the mashed potatoes are obviously from a frozen packet. I was there to accompany someone and it's clear I won't be returning. Very disappointed.
Marilyn Kim (13/07/2025, 05:38):
Supermarket has got everything you need, mate. Not a fan of shipping, to be honest, but it's a bloody good option. I reckon it has a more welcoming vibe than Tesco, and it's usually cheaper as well. Cheers!
Ruth Wilson (09/07/2025, 20:25):
They often run out of fresh produce, but when they do have it in stock, it's not too bad.
Janet Ortiz (09/07/2025, 00:30):
I used to work at this supermarket with my previous employer, and I must say the staff is quite friendly and they offer some great deals on prices.
Roy Fisher (08/07/2025, 15:03):
Had a great time in the clothing department as per usual. The variety and selection cater to all tastes. Enjoyed a pleasant meal at the cafe, although it would be even better if they offered table service. Cheers!
Wayne Lee (06/07/2025, 01:26):
I've had a couple of deliveries lately. Each one has shown up with grimy trays! Utterly disgusting! Some items have come loose, so I wash them, however the trays are unacceptable in their current state. I've brought this up with the drivers who just acknowledge the issue.

I've reached out to food health & safety about this. Hopefully, there will be improvements soon?
I've switched to shopping at Tesco now.
Carol Hall (04/07/2025, 11:33):
This Asda is massive! The layout is top-notch, making it a breeze to find everything you need. Despite its sheer size, getting around is a piece of cake. Cheers!
Ella Reynolds (03/07/2025, 17:36):
I purchased some gluten-free pizza bases and pitta breads for my daughter today, which, even though they were on sale, are not set to expire until March 22nd. I thought to myself, not only do they have a long shelf-life, but I could also freeze them for later use. However, upon inspection, one of the packs had mold on it. I tried calling the store, but I was transferred to every department imaginable without finding a solution. It's not about the money; it's the principle of the matter that bothers me!
Margaret Lee (02/07/2025, 21:55):
I do most of my shopping here, so I stopped off for fuel first. Normally, I would have a veggie breakfast at Wetherspoons, but to save time and effort, I decided to try Asda's veggie breakfast - big mistake. When I ordered it, the Irish lady serving me said there was an extra charge for toast. I had to show her the two slices of toast mentioned on the printed menu which she seemed unaware of - perhaps lack of proper training? How long have customers been getting charged extra for this? When the breakfast arrived, the only thing that was hot were the sausages. One egg, two veggie sausages, beans, and two slices of toast for £3.50. Wetherspoons offers a similar meal with much more variety for about the same price. I definitely won't be rushing back to the Asda cafeteria anytime soon. The only positive aspect of this experience was being able to eat where I shopped. I'll stick to just shopping for now.
Julia Ross (02/07/2025, 21:35):
Attempting to reach the Customer Service team was an exercise in futility. I am contemplating exploring other supermarket options. I understand that the holiday season is near, and everyone is preoccupied, but at this moment, I feel utterly disappointed.
Paul Hayes (02/07/2025, 05:38):
I've seen them all, haven't I? Not much to report, really. ASDA offers a fantastic selection of products at affordable prices. I mean, who isn't familiar with ASDA, right?
Hannah Morris (02/07/2025, 02:51):
Why does this shop reek of pee? When Asda first opened, it was fine, but ever since they installed the new soak away toilet, there's been a pervasive smell of urine throughout the store. Health and safety regulations should surely be prohibiting such a situation from occurring.
Jean Taylor (02/07/2025, 01:41):
Fabulous store, it has all you need to throw a smashing party!
Christopher Roberts (26/06/2025, 09:27):
My order was for 2 to 4 pm and did not arrive until 6:30 pm. I am not pleased with this service.
