Big thank you to Alan Keddie and the folks at Morrisons on Falside Road for being absolute lifesavers once more. We had placed an order for shortbread and water from a different supermarket for our Scottish Celebration this afternoon, but they let us down. Morrisons stepped in last minute, not only delivering the order but also generously donating it! We cannot thank them enough for their kindness and support. A well-stocked store with a helpful staff. I've noticed during the Covid pandemic that they have consistently had cleaning products and antibacterial supplies available, as well as monitoring the number of customers in the shop. A reliable and considerate supermarket in these challenging times.

Customer service..... What customer service? The young lass who served me seemed more interested in chatting with a lad colleague than attending to me, a paying customer. She barely mustered a single word during the transaction, just a curt "Card?" No friendly greetings, no thank yous, none of the pleasantries one would expect. I strained to catch her name on the badge, but it eluded me, perhaps hidden by her cascade of long locks. This lackluster interaction left me feeling more acknowledged by the self-checkout machine! I myself work in retail and would never dream of treating a customer so dismissively.

If you pop into the supermarket later in the evening, don't be surprised if the shelves aren't fully stocked, especially when it comes to items like cooked chicken thighs and other meats. It's happened to me a few times now, and while I typically don't like to complain about these things, it's becoming a bit of a pattern. I think it's important for Morrisons to hear honest feedback every now and then, don't you agree?

The staff at the supermarket can be a bit hit or miss with ID checks. I recently had a rather unfortunate experience where a lady confiscated my entire shopping cart because I couldn't provide ID for some paracetamol. She didn't even allow me to purchase the sanitary pads I urgently needed. While I understand it's their duty to verify IDs, this has never been an issue during my previous visits when buying age-restricted items. This incident was particularly upsetting as I was quite unwell and in desperate need of both pads and medicine. To top it off, the bread aisle had a rather unpleasant odor resembling urine.

Upon visiting Morrison's on Falside Rd in Paisley, I was quite taken aback by the absence of Covid19 restrictions in place!! If not for the masked folks, one could easily mistake it for a typical Friday shopping day!! No count of customers entering, and chaotic queues at the tills. With news of 63 more deaths in Scotland in the past day, it begs the question - when will supermarkets step up and ensure safety for their shoppers?

I quite enjoy Morrisons, the food is decent and the store is kept clean, but it's becoming quite pricey. I reckon all the major supermarkets could do with a rehaul when it comes to their prices. It's no surprise there are many Brits and kids going hungry. That's why I haven't rated it five stars.

I was at the Falside Road shop, I finished my shopping and as I was in the car park, I accidentally dropped my milk carton. It broke at the bottom and I didn't want to just throw it away in the bin. So, I decided to go back into the shop and ask for help to safely dispose of the milk down a drain. Isobel (I believe that's her name) kindly assisted me by providing a new carton of milk and coming outside to help me get rid of the spilled milk. I was truly grateful for the excellent customer service and getting a replacement.

I popped into the store to grab some Costa latte coffee for my beloved coffee machine, but alas, they were out of stock once again! It's quite baffling why they don't order more of such a popular item to prevent the shelves from running dry. Surely it can't be that hard to keep up with the demand, can it?

Well, let me tell ya, this place is a right mess. The aisles are so tight, and don't even get me started on the staff giving you the stink eye just for asking a question. The whole place could do with a proper scrub down. And the parking lot? It's like they want you to play bumper cars out there. My advice? Skip this place altogether. Head over to the Morrisons at Lonend if you absolutely have to shop there.

On the 12th of March, I noticed a few products in the refrigerator section that were past their use-by dates, such as February 8th for some items. I also came across some expired dry goods. This seems to be a recurring issue that needs to be addressed.

Concerned to discover this supermarket lacks surveillance cameras, particularly upon returning to my vehicle after around 10-15 minutes to encounter what appears to be an attempted theft. Will definitely reconsider shopping here in the future. Shoppers, be cautious!

It was refreshing to observe well-stocked shelves and a diverse product range, which isn't always the norm. However, there could be an improvement in staffing at the self-service checkouts as the lone attendant seemed overwhelmed and there was a significant wait for assistance, despite her best efforts. This is the only store where I opt for self-scan, likely due to the typically long queues at the two staffed checkouts.
